Treating Acne Scars with eMatrix

eMatrix is one of the most effective treatments for acne scars in Asian skin. Unlike ablative lasers that remove the surface layer, eMatrix uses sublative radiofrequency (bipolar fractional RF) to generate precise thermal injury points deep in the dermis while leaving most of the epidermis intact. This triggers intense collagen remodeling that gradually fills and smooths ice pick scars, boxcar scars, and rolling scars over a series of treatments. eMatrix is safe for skin types I–VI, making it particularly valuable for darker Asian skin tones that are prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation from aggressive laser treatments. Most patients see significant improvement after 3–5 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
